A sample URL address would look something like this: http://img1.classistatic.com/cps/kj/101207/689r5/3095klf_19.jpeg
Enter a detailed description of your horse. Since the other fields in the classified advertisement form allow you to include the most common specifications for your horse. Use the Description field to include information that is not already included in the rest of the form, but would be of interest to a potential buyer. This that you may want to place in your Description field may include things such as:
Traditional measurement of a horse's height is recorded in hands. For this reason, Neighbay.ca accepts horse measurement in this format (example 15.3). If you have measured your horse in metres, use this handy conversion tool to convert your horse's measurement.
Enter the name of your horse. If your horse is registered with a breed association and your horse is included in the www.allbreedpedigree.com database, entering the name of your horse (EXACTLY as it was included in the www.allbreedpredigree.com database) will allow users to view your horse's pedigree.
Enter a fair price for your horse. Some sellers consider leaving the price set to $0 with the intention of setting the price during negotiations. This is rarely an advisable practice for several reasons. First, you may attract buyers who are not prepared to pay for a horse in the price range you have in mind. This wastes your time and their's. Setting a fair price, up-front, presents you to potential buyers as a fair and trustworthy seller. Take time and consider your price before you post your classified.
If your horse is registered with a breed association, include the name of the breed association here. You can use an abbreviation or the complete name of the breed association. This information will help potential buyers to determine what paper-work will be required during the purchase process.
Setting the Status of your classified advertisement is important. If you sell your horse, before the end of the subscription, marking your horse as SOLD will prevent buyers from contacting you to inquire about your horse. If you are negotiating with a buyer, marking your classified advertisement as PENDING will tell buyers that you may have sold your horse, but to check back in case the deal falls through. If you are unsure if you want to offer your horse for sale, marking your classified as UNAVAILABLE will tell users that your horse is temporarily off the market.
Rate your horse's temperament both on the ground and in the saddle by entering a number between 1 and 10. An extremely calm horse would rate a 1, while a very high-spirited horse would rate a 10. Taking the time to rate your horse's temperament will give buyers important information about the suitability of matching a horse with their experience level.
You want your ad to stand out from the crowd. Try to pick a short phrase that'll catch people's attention and make them want to look at the horse in more detail. Think about the unique characteristics that might draw a buyer's attention. Is your horse a unique colour or pattern? Does he have a distinct personality trait or skill that might be in demand? When users search google or other search engines, this title will help to locate your classified.
Us the Select Images button to upload photos of your horse. Basic Classified Advertisements include ONE FREE photo. Enhanced Classified Advertisements include 5 photos and Premium Classified Advertisements include 9 photos. When you first create your advertisement you will be able upload ONE photo only.
